Arty Parties especially for your ‘Perfect Picasso’
Parties can be tailored to any budget and any size party or event. We cater for preschoolers to teens to Adults with a wide varied mix of art and craft projects to suit all tastes. We have some tried and tested winners such as Unicorn headdresses, watercolours and collage and we can provide you with a range of ideas based on your child’s loves and likes, party theme and age ranges at your party.
We come to your venue (or you come to ours) and we provide an art or craft activity for the children as part of your party plan. Art projects can be wet and painty or dry and relatively mess free. We bring all the materials with us, set up & pack down leaving you free to entertain your guest or prepare the party food.
Our sister company Magical Masquerade also can provide face painting, fairy story telling and any of our other services which can be packaged with an arty party and also receive a 10% discount.

Young at Art run after school, home school and holiday workshops in arts and craft for children aged 5 – 18 years of age in the Franklin area.

Examples of an Arty Party
A 5 year old princess is having a princess themed party. Today we shall be making princess and princes crowns with jewels and sparkles.
On arrival all the guests create chalk art outside on the driveway. When everyone has arrived they enter into the art kingdom to find the table all set up ready for their art project and create their beautiful crowns. Afterwards the children all make beaded bracelets before the food and games commence.
Peter Picasso is 8 years old and a budding artist and has his party at the art studio. When his fellow artists arrive they all join together to draw pictures and birthday messages on a big butchers paper mural. We then get into creating some Picasso self portrait in acrylics before the party games and food commence.
Crafty Caroline is 10 years old and invites her friends to create some colourful wall art collage. They are a little old for pass the parcel so afterwards they all play some art inspired games.
